We always start with a design and budget consult to create an initial concept and budget for the project. Once you approve your budget we will have a series of meetings to finalize all the details and create the fixed price proposal.

We generally have 3-5 Kitchen Design Meetings:

Kitchen design is very personal so we start with learning about your daily routines, what you like about your current kitchen and what you want to change.

It begins with the designers visiting your home. They will double check measurement from the estimate process and begin to get a sense of your style and daily routines.

Then a series of meetings in our showroom: 

• • The first showroom meeting is mostly about layout, organization and storage.
• • The second showroom meeting is about materials, color, pattern and style.
• • The third showroom meeting is about details. This is where we dial in the design and add ‘little surprises’ that delight the user and personalize the space.

In between meetings we will visit other showrooms to look at stone and appliances. Our project management team will also be helping to work with our trade partners to get accurate bids.

When design is complete we have a final meeting to review everything and present a fixed price proposal for the project. Then we order all your materials and prepare for construction to start.

Open-concept kitchens, like this one in the Tredington Park area, are still very popular but we are also seeing increased interest more private kitchens, butlers pantries and sculleries.
