Get A Fully Planned Kitchen Remodel
We’ve built our company around a different model than most kitchen remodeling contractors… with an in-house design team, a dedicated showroom, and a structured process that plans every detail before construction begins.
Here’s How It Works
After you approve your estimate…
1. Start With A Guided Design Process: Know exactly what your remodel will look like, what it will cost, and how long it will take before construction begins.
2. Pre-Construction Planning: We take care of everything… all the ordering, scheduling, project prep and permits. We’ll email you regular updates leading up to construction.
3. Your project manager is on site every day. For quality control and to make sure you always know who will be in your home, at what time and what work is planned for the day.
The Result:
Better decisions, a project that runs on schedule and a finished product that lives up to what you imagined.
If you are struggling with an outdated kitchen, schedule a phone consult to discuss options and understand how we can help.

Remodel Without Regret
There’s a moment many homeowners hit one to two years after a remodel… They’re standing in the kitchen or the bathroom and they think: I wish we had done that differently.
We work hard to make sure that moment never comes.

When You Work with Us You Get:
One Team From Design Through Construction
No Hand-offs, No Miscommunication
Most remodels involve a separate designer and contractor, which often leads to misalignment, delays, and finger-pointing when something goes wrong.
With McManus Kitchen and Bath, you work with one team from start to finish so your project stays cohesive from design through construction.
Fixed Pricing
Know the exact cost before demo begins
Most kitchen remodeling contractors give rough estimates that change once the project is underway.
We don’t. You receive a fixed price before construction starts, so you can make decisions with confidence, not guesswork.
Professional Project Management
Daily updates so you are never left wondering
You’ll always know what’s happening with your project… who will be in your home, at what time and what work will be done each day.
We provide written updates several times a day so you can stay informed without having to chase down answers.

Here’s what we know about your neighborhood
Killearn Estates and Killearn Lakes
1970’s – 1990’s Ranch and two story homes. Closed galley kitchen layouts are common. Solid bones, great neighborhood to invest in.
Typical kitchen remodel involves removing common wall to open toward dining/living. Copper plumbing typically in good shape but electrical panels often need upgrading.
Golden Eagle, Rose Hill, Summerbrooke, Bobbin Brook
Gated communities. Larger custom homes where the layout is usually good and major systems are up to date. Usually only minor layout changes are needed but cabinet and counters are worn or out of date.
Remodel focus is usually to install high end or custom cabinets with improved organization and high end countertops. HVAC or electric in soffits a common surprise when homeowners want to open ceiling height.
Midtown, Myers Park, Indianhead Acres
Older neighborhoods with unique homes. Some of our most interesting, and technically challenging, remodels are in these neighboroods. Primariyl built in the 1940’s – 1970’s.
Concrete block construction, cast iron drains, outdated wiring, and historic district review considerations are common. Often the kitchens are original so they are 70 years old or more.
Southwood
Primarily in the 2000s and early 2010s as planned communities, which means the homes share consistent construction standards and similar floor plan logic.
The kitchens in this area were typically builder-grade from the start so they are functional but not finished to a high level. A great neighborhood so investing in updates makes sense.
Ox Bottom
Homes built from the mid-2000s through recent years, and the kitchens reflect that. Many are already open-concept, already connected to living and dining areas, and already sized for an island.
What homeowners in this area are looking for is not a layout change but a quality upgrade: moving from builder-grade cabinets and laminate surfaces to custom cabinetry, high end countertops and improved storage.
Waverly and Betton Hills
Betton Hills and Waverly Hills are two of Tallahassee’s most established and sought-after neighborhoods, with homes built primarily from the 1950s through the early 1970s.
The architecture tends toward ranch-style and mid-century designs with generous lot sizes and mature landscaping . It’s hard to over invest in these neighborhoods as homes here are sought after.
