    Previous Kitchen Planner Results

    We collected anonymous results from the kitchen planner and compiled them to give you an idea of what common results are. The assessment is broken into 5 categories: General, Layout, Appearance, Lifestyle and ROI.

    General Home Maintenance

    The kitchen planner data shows that 18% of participants have electrical panels or wiring over 50 years old, which indicated they may need a panel or wiring upgrade.

    27% of respondents have water heaters over a decade old, which can lead to increased energy costs and potential failures.

    Furthermore, 19% revealed they still have galvanized plumbing, known for its susceptibility to corrosion and leaks.

    Layout and Function

    86% of respondents feel their kitchen layout is not efficient and 60% of people who completed the kitchen assessment feel their kitchen isn’t big enough. 

    30% of participants indicated that simply moving the sink could enhance their kitchen experience.

    More than 80% said their kitchen did not have good ventillation. 

    Appearance

    83% of people responding to the kitchen planner said they cabinets were worn or damaged and 43% said their kitchen surfaces were hard to clean.

    Only 40% of people completing the assessment said they enjoyed using their kitchen.

    Lifetyle

    78% of the respondants said they would love to entertain more but their kitchen was not great for hosting or they were embarrased by its condition. 14% said the kitchen worked well for their needs.

    ROI (return on investment)

    Everyone surveyed had lived in their home at least 6 months and planned to stay there for 3 years or more.

    Home value for 71% of respondents was greater than $500,000 and lived in neighborhoods where many of the homes had been remodeled.

    This data indicated that they could expect an ROI between 55% and 60%.

    Planning & Construction

    Project manager is on site daily for quality control. 

    Follow Up & Warranty

    6 month ‘tune up’ visit and a 5 year warranty on all work.

    Concept and Budget is the first step so you know what to expect and plan with confidence that there won’t be any major surprises.

    Design & Ordering. Once you approve your estimate we will ask for a design retainer equal to 5% of the estimate and then schedule 2-4 design meetings to finalize all the details and create a fixed price proposal for you.

    Once you approve the fixed price proposal we will collect a deposit, order everything for you and finalize permits, scheduling etc…

    Before construction starts your project manager will schedule a ‘preconstruction meeting’ in your home to review things like job site protection, parking, access etc…

    During construction your project manager is on site every day for quality control, keeping the job site clean and organized and provide progress reports.

    When construction is complete we do a follow up visit after 6 months and check in annually for the remainder of our 5 year warranty period.
