Hall Bath Update

An unfortunate toilet leak forced an unexpected remodel. We had remodelled one of their other baths just a year earlier. While they did plan to remodel their daughters bath eventually the toilet leak moved up their timeline so the budget was a lot tighter than they wanted since this was an unexpected expense.

Had we remodelled the bath using traditional tile and waterproofing methods the cost would approach $30,000.

Using the Acrylic panels and tub from the Bath Planet system we were able to complete renovated the bathroom in under two weeks and for about $10,000 less than a tiled shower remodel.

Since this bath is used by thier young daughter our designers wanted to make it feminie but also a bit timeless so the design would stay relevant as she grows.

Project Details

Shower Walls: Fairfield Shower Panels

Bath Planet’s acrylic panels are available in several styles and colors.

This client wanted a contemporary look for their shower that would stand the test of time.  Bath Planet’s Fairfield Pattern was the perfect fit. They chose the basketweave color to match the countertop. The Reveal grout really helps the pattern pop.

32×60 Acrylic Tub with Straight Skirt

For this project we choose a tub with a simple straight skirt for it’s clean look that would match the travertine panels perfectly. We made the new tub a couple of inches wider than their old one, to make sure the floor tile, which they were keeping, was covered.

Countertops

The Countertops is Cambria Montgomery. Cambria is our favorite brand of quartz and is made right here in the USA.

Cabinets

The Cabinets are 1330 Series from Bellmont. We chose a gloss white Tempo door style to go with the contempory shower and because the smooth panel is easy to clean and very durable.

Mirror

The mirror is a custom frame from Precesion Frameworks.

Floating Shelves

We had our carpenter make some custom shelves from Ash and stain them to go with the flooring.

Toilet and Accessories

The new toilet and bath accessories are from Fergusson. We choose a skirted toilet both for it’s contemporary look and because it is easier to clean.

Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring

The flooring is an LVP from Mohawk. We locce LVP in the bath because it’s 100% waterproof, warmer than tile and easy to clean.

Project Timeline and Cost

The Bath Planet system really as two benefits, it is more cost effective and its faster to install than tradtional shower systems. In total this project cost about $20,000 and took just under two weeks to complete.
