Marble Shower In Crawfordville, FL
In this project we removed a large spa tub in order to create a large marble shower. We also refaced the bathroom vanity and added a Quartz counter top. The bathroom floor remained in place, though we did update the grout with some grout colorant.
Marble showers are gorgeous but marble is not the best material for an area where soaps and shampoos are used. In this project we used a porcelain tile that mimics the look of marble quite well. That way you get the performance advantages of porcelain with the beauty of marble.
The final shower was quite large, about 4.5 feet wide and 7 feet long. The size allowed us to create a walk in shower and install a great bench seat in the back of the shower.
Customer Testimonial:
We contacted McManus Kitchen and Bath to remodel two bathrooms. Paul tackled the Master Bath first and it was just in the nick of time. Any later and we would have had major structural repairs. McManus Kitchen and Bath created a truly elegant master bath. He crafted the Roman Spa experience by using 12×24 inch porcelain tile with a marble pattern, an accent band and Kerdi Niche, and the Schluter system eliminating future problems. The Roman Spa was completed by using the Moen i/O digital system with three shower heads that can be temperature controlled and used individually or simultaneously. Overall, a true craftsman and professional in getting the job done right with magazine quality finishes.

Bathroom Remodel Cost and Time to Complete
The size of the shower was the dominant factor in the cost of this project. Its a large shower with floor to ceiling tile and a large bench. The Moen Digital Shower system was also a big budget items, that costs about $2000 on its own.
We did save about $1,000 by refacing the bathroom vanity rather than replace it and the existing bath floor was kept, we simply refreshed the grout with some grout colorant.
In total the project cost about $21,000.00 and took just over 4 weeks to complete.
