Project Overview
This homeowner was mostly concerned with updating the overall look of their kitchen. The layout stayed exactly the same other than moving the fridge and walling up the passthrough to the dining room. The aesthetic portions of the remodel included getting all new white cabinets with glass upper cabinets, a central navy blue island, and all new white appliances.

Our Favorite Things
We love this homeowner’s taste! Check out some of our favorite features from their kitchen remodel!
Navy Blue Island
The navy blue island in this kitchen beautifully stands out from and complements the otherwise white kitchen.
All White Appliances
The white appliances in this kitchen seamlessly match the cabinetry around it, making for a sleek and modern look.
Knife Block Pullout
The knife block pullout in the island is one of our favorite features. the design means that any size knife will fit inside of the block and its drawer location means that no counter space is taken up by knives.
Glass Upper Cabinets
Glass upper cabinets are always a great way to highlight some of the precious items that would normally live in your kitchen such as fine china and glassware.
Quartz Countertops
The quartz countertops in this kitchen are Cambria’s Sutherland style. The white quartz with subtle blue marbling perfectly matches the aesthetic of this kitchen.

Scope of Work
As was stated above, the scope of this project was routine. Featuring all new cabinets and island, new countertops, new appliances, patching the passthrough from the kitchen to the dining room, and new plumbing hardware, this kitchen remodel was fairly straight forward. The only component that was not completely straight forward was moving the fridge to a different location.

Actual Completion

There are many factors that can cause a job to finish behind schedule. A big component of us completing this job a month late was that we started the project 20 days after the projected start date. However, that delay did not cause us to be in the home for any longer.
