In a time when most people are going with stark grey and white color schemes this project was unique in that it stuck to traditional wood tones and neutral colors. The final result really looks great and reflects the homeowners taste very well.

The before / after pictures of this project are pretty dramatic. Walls were removed, the shower expanded and new vanity and closet furniture added. We also replaced the flooring in the master bedroom and painted the entire master suite.

The Brown’s were also wonderful people to work with. Very kind and welcoming. Betsy labored over ever material selection and made some really great choices. I even suggested she could have a second career as a designer but she just laughed and said “no way, too much work!”

Our Favorite Upgrades:

Customer Testimonial

“From our first meeting with Paul, my wife and I were happy with his ability to listen to what our ideas were and to talk through options with us. We had ideas, but no plans, and he helped those ideas take shape. As a result, we have a new master bathroom and a new kitchen as well as new wood flooring and ceilings in all of the downstairs rooms of our house.

The workers and subs that Paul brought into our home were all topnotch, and acted very considerately. They worked hard to keep our house livable despite the extensive renovations that were taking place. Paul kept me apprised of changes to the schedule and when delays were encountered, it always seemed like he was doing all he could to expedite things and keep the project moving. Finally, I thought Paul gave us valuable guidance when needed to avoid unnecessary expense and find workable solutions to challenges that were encountered”….. The Brown’s

Project Overview

This project began with the goal of updating the master bath and adding some grab bars. But after going thru a detailed design and selection process the homeowners decided to expand the scope of work to include the master closet and master bedroom.

We completely gutted the bath, opening it up significantly and creating a large walk in shower with a nice big bench for seating. The grab bars were integrated into the towel bars, shelving and shower system so they don’t look so obvious.

The old linen closet was replaced with a more space efficient linen cabinet and we added a storage tower to the vanity for even more storage.

We also added Eco Timber wide plank wood flooring to the master bedroom and closet and new closet furniture by Wood-Trac.

The demo, shower construction, and finish work were done in house by McManus Kitchen and Bath. We also managed the project, met all sub contractors on site each day, and ensured a clean, organized job site. We work with the same sub contractors regularly so they are familiar with our work style, quality demands, and our emphasis on a clean, organized job site.
